AI + Nurse Academy™ was created by nurses to close the AI literacy gap in healthcare and provide clear, practical AI education for nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Our Introduction to AI & Large Language Models (LLMs) for Nurses course offers 1.0 approved continuing nursing education contact hour through the Ohio Nurses Association. The Ohio Nurses Association is an Ohio Board of Nursing approver of nursing continuing education.
Every lesson is designed through a clinical and nursing lens. We translate complex AI concepts into practical applications for patient care, clinical decision making, education, and healthcare delivery.
We begin with what matters most: patient safety, data privacy, algorithmic bias, and ethical implementation. Before exploring what AI can do, learners understand what AI should do and the critical role healthcare professionals play in using it responsibly.
Every course is built on these foundational principles, ensuring comprehensive, balanced AI education.
Understanding ethical frameworks guiding AI use in healthcare
Learning effective AI communication for nursing tasks
Ensuring patient data protection and confidentiality in AI systems
Recognizing and mitigating bias in AI tools to promote fairness
Using evidence-based approaches to evaluate AI's effectiveness
Applying AI safely and effectively within clinical and academic settings
